Sheep For Dinner
Tuesday May 24, 2022
Tuesday May 24, 2022
Ya'll asked for another collab and here we go again. The Funky Panther boys join me in studio and we weekend recap: Podcasts & PBR, Brunch at Brewed, and our interviews at the actual PBR. Tim still hates me, but thankfully we can all bond over Lubys. Javier shares occasions where BBQ sauce on your titties isn't frowned upon and I share my first experience at Bottled Blonde. Next time you're in the Stockyards I'd suggest eating anywhere but a certain establishment. We talk all things meat, and try to decipher how many Mexican pizzas are necessary to decide you don't like Mexican pizzas. Anyone wanna foot hug? Also, a Funky Panther band may or may not have existed at one point. Just try to picture Chad with spiky hair and frosted tips, yeah I don't see it either. This episode is pretty spot on and by that I mean, chaotic.

No Bull With Tiffany Davis
Thursday May 19, 2022
Thursday May 19, 2022
Well I'm officially obsessed with North Carolina cowgirl, Tiffany Davis. Not only does she share all the stories about the founding of the PBR, but you get to hear her gush over her husband, Jerome Davis. They say life comes at you quick and let me tell you that is an understatement with this couple. However, the breaking points allowed a story of overcoming and evolving. We talk becoming a bull owner, and the new team aspect in bull riding. What does it mean to flank a bull? Tiffany shares her passion about animal welfare and how she was confused for Pamela Anderson in The Longest Ride. This is quite possibly one of my favorite interviews to date, and you'll see why after listening.

Ok Frog Butt
Wednesday May 18, 2022
Wednesday May 18, 2022
The Mambo Taxis hit and the memories of UIL choir and safety patrol come flooding in. Tyler and Roger agree that ASMR is absolute garbage as we discuss sounds and words we despise. Robyn almost slips and says the M word. But really this episode is about a list of insults simmering in Robyn's note app. We close out the episode talking about the Abercrombie documentary and the memories of A&F are quite traumatizing, minus the smell. We might still like the smell...

Hey Y’all - What’s The 411
Wednesday May 11, 2022
Wednesday May 11, 2022
It's time to play catch up with Tyler and Roger, and this episode includes Roger's first Mambo Taxi. Mi Cocina, we're open to sponsorships. We talk ArtsGoggle and when you can expect the launch of their podcast. Did you see the Fort Worth Arts Fair numbers? And how exaggerated do you think they were? It's time to become jury members and we are NOT team Amber Turd. I get schooled on every term possible, and clearly need to study more. Roger tries roll play, and exactly where did our daddy fetishes come from? Tyler busts out his teaching skills, and shares why more of these conversations are needed to help others in the community.

Back with Anthony for another episode as we discuss how connected Fort Worth is and how actions speak louder than words when it comes to friendship. We dive into being too nice when dating, and how dating while staying busy comes down to making time and prioritizing. What is your ideal dating scenario? Have you ever lost yourself while in a relationship? Shout out to our grandparents for helping make us who we are today, and finding where confidence comes from. And is a new podcast coming to The Funk, or is Anthony just teasing us...

Fort Worth vs Everybody
Tuesday Apr 26, 2022
Tuesday Apr 26, 2022
Meet my friend, and local creative and entrepreneur, Anthony Oliphant. We talk first jobs and the creative process to starting a business. And if a sexy logo doesn't work for one business, it might work for another! Staying motivated is key even after failure, and for some meditation just may be the key to keeping life zen. However, meditation to me just make me think about Ace Ventura. Anthony shares his best advice for anyone wanting to start a new path, and we give props to our friend Lou Charles. Be the light.

Diversify Your Circle
Tuesday Apr 19, 2022
Tuesday Apr 19, 2022
Back again with Tyler and Roger to share everything about Fort Worth Pride and the struggles and success the community has faced. Want to know how you as a business and ally can actually help and support your local LGBTQ+ community? We gotchu. Are you completely lost on how to be an ally? We dive in and go over terminology and sayings, and discuss what NOT to say and WHY. The wine hits and we may get a tad deep and emotional over talking about relationships or lack of. Snaps for therapy.

Tell Me How You Blow
Tuesday Apr 12, 2022
Tuesday Apr 12, 2022
It's time ya'll meet Tyler and Roger, and I promise you this duo doesn't need much to have you dying of laughter. Not only do we share some questionable ways to inspire, but we encourage you to follow your dreams, even if it leads to a makeout sesh while a homeless person yells at you. I teach the boys about using a shot of rumple as mouthwash and we share what gives us the ick. We discuss why childhood toys are essential in you not looking like a moron, and as always, y'all please be self aware.

Everyday Experiences
Tuesday Apr 05, 2022
Tuesday Apr 05, 2022
I'm back with LDP from "It's Probably You" and we dive into why...If you feel guilty it's probably you. Robyn shares her struggles with setting boundaries, and having healthy confrontation. Have you really ever sat down to get to know who you are? LDP explains why feelings are not your personality, and gives us the much needed Silo analogy. We take matching energy to the extreme, and discuss how life is so much bigger than we realize. But wherever you go, go where you feel welcome, and always protect the vibe. Plus we discuss the stages of change, and how relapse can actually help you succeed.

Never Satisfied
Tuesday Mar 29, 2022
Tuesday Mar 29, 2022
Expert father, Lance Perry, from "It's Probably You" joins me for a special recording at Backlot's new podcasting studio! We talk Instagram names vs real names, and the growth and changes in our podcasting community. Ya'll have been wanting drama, so we share the two Fort Worth gossip pages for your stalking enjoyment. We talk Sundance Square past and present, and give you a teaser because events are FINALLY really back. Main Street Arts Festival is around the corner and there is some DRAMA surrounding it. But we don't really care as long as there are VIP potties...
